Federer flew from the Miami tournament and stepped over to Nadal

World number 1 Roger Federer finished his participation in the Miami 1000 Series tournament in Miami after retiring in a second round against Australian Thanassi Kokkinakis 6:3, 3:6, 6:7 (4).
The duel lasted for two hours and 24 minutes, and both players made a breakthrough. The next rival of Kokkinakis will be Spaniard Fernando Verdasco. The big news, however, is that on April 2, Federer will retire first in Rafael Nadal`s rankings as he has failed to defend his Miami title and lose points for the rankings.
Nadal himself does not participate in Miami due to injury. In order to maintain his leadership position, Federer had to qualify at least 1/4 final mentioned by tennis predictions in Florida.
