The defending champion Alexander Zverev and the three-time champion Philip Kolshireber qualified for the final of the tennis court of red courts in the German city of Munich with a prize pool of 501, 345 euros.
Zverev came to the final after defeating Hon Chun 7:5, 6:2 in the first semi-final and in the second, which was entirely German, as will be the final, Kolshireber 6:2, 6:4 overMaximilian Marterer.
Zverev and Chun made a very interesting first set in which it seemed that the Korean had an advantage as it quickly led with 3:0 games. However, there were five consecutive games in favor of the German to turn the score to 5:3, but Chun returned the break and brought things up to 5:5.
The driver in the circuit, however, made a new break for 6:5, then managed to close the set on his serve. In the second set Zverev did not have such a difficulty and after two early breaks, the result quickly led to 5:1 and a little later the game by tennis livescore ended.
The sixth in the circuit, Kolshireber made two breaks in both sets and so beat the debutant in this phase of the tournament, Marterer. If Zverev wins on Sunday, Kolshireber will win the fourth title in Munich after those in 2007, 2012 and 2016.
